Pinelands completed the sweep but their challengers for the final are yet to be determined after Burger King Clapham Bulls won game two and levelled the two-best- of-three Barbados Amateur Basketball Association Premier League semi-final series 1-1 against Station Hill Cavaliers.

Played on Saturday at the Barbados Community College, the competition sponsored by Co-operators General Insurance attracted a good crowd for the playoff, and Pinelands, chasing another league title, were victorious 98-87 to win the series 2-1 against Lakers Sports Club.

In the other encounter, which was a lot more competitive, Bulls edged Station Hill 83-78 and denied them the chance to sweep the series.

Coached by former national player Ryan Leacock, Bulls needed to get early momentum, even if just by a slim margin and they did just that as early as the first half. (ML)
