Fatal accident at Bridge Road

The deceased has been identified as Ashney DaCosta Steele, 53, of Deane’s Village, St Michael.

A man was pronounced dead at Bridge Road and the junction with Baycroft New Road and Baycroft Road, St Michael, on Friday night, the victim of an accident.

Police say he was a pedestrian, crossing the road from west to east, while the car was travelling along Bridge Road in a southerly direction.

The accident occurred around 7:44 p.m.

Investigations are ongoing.
