The Coastal Zone Management Unit will be carrying out repairs to sections of the Richard Haynes Boardwalk at Hastings, Christ Church, from Monday, July 24.

The repairs, which include replacing damaged decking boards and fixing of the wooden substructure beneath these boards, should be completed by August 28.

During the six weeks, temporary fencing and caution signage will be placed in the active work areas, between the Old Caribee Hotel and the National Conservation Commission beach facility.

However, the boardwalk will still be accessible to users, and they are urged to adhere to the signs. (BGIS)
