Two accused of multiple burglaries remanded

Two men accused of carrying out four burglaries between March and June this year were remanded after appearing before Magistrate Manila Renee in Criminal Court No. 2 of the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Damien Jamal Beckles, a 28-year-old groundsman, of Combermere Street, has been jointly charged with Teriq Kareem Linton, 25, of Suttle Street, both in The City.

They are accused of entering M.O.H. Enterprises on Tudor Street, The City, and stealing $150, eight laptops, four tablets, 44 cellphones, 100 charging blocks and other electronic items, totalling $50 979 in value, belonging to M.O.H. Enterprises, between March 11 and 12.

They are also charged with entering Rubis Service Station at Harmony Hall, St Michael, with intent to commit theft, on May 10. (SD)
