Nassau – Police have arrested the parents of a two-year-old child, whose head was hanging out of the rear passenger window of their vehicle last weekend.

The police said that the unconscious child later died at hospital.

According to the police, the parents, ages 23 and 20 years old, have been charged with manslaughter by negligence.

The police said that the couple were driving on Saturday when they were alerted by motorists that the toddler’s head was hanging out the rear passenger window.

“Subsequently, the toddler was removed from the window and transported to the hospital via private vehicle where he later succumbed,” police said. (CMC)
