The father accused of having unlawful sexual intercourse with his daughter yesterday denied any such act took place.

In addition, the man said he was not the biological father of the girl, testifying he had been informed of this by the girl’s mother.

Yet, he said, he fought for custody of the girl and continued to raise her as his own child.

He opted to take the witness stand for his defence when his incest trial continued in the No. 2 Supreme Court.

The 62-year-old began by saying he had never taken a DNA test to find out if the girl was his daughter. (HLE)
