For the second time in less than a week, Barbadians battled with heavy rains, some flooded areas especially in the north and and a build up of traffic  yesterday.

From early afternoon the Barbados Meteorological Office issued a flood warning which was later updated  serving notice that it would  be in effect until 6 this morning.

Met officials said four to five inches of heavy rainfall impacted some areas in St James and St Peter yesterday afternoon.

Within less than an hour of the downpour, videos circulated across social media showing rushing waters, flooding and impassable roads. (JRN)
