A dominant all-round performance from Warriors’ captain Jonathan Carter was the answer as they whipped the Titans by 45 runs on Sunday at the Desmond Haynes Oval to record their first BIM10 victory after four matches.

Sent in by Titans’ skipper Aaron Jones, the Warriors were absolutely emphatic in their tournament record 151 for one in ten overs, led by opener Carter’s unbeaten 71 from 33 balls.

With ball in hand, Carter took two wickets for 33 runs to help restrict the Titans to 106 for six in a crushing defeat.

Carter punched nine sixes and counted just one four in a serious onslaught of the opposition which included Steffaun Griffith’s expensive 32-run over.  (RW)
