Convicted bank thief Kevin DaCosta Cadogan sought to lay blame on a former co-accused for the hit on an account holder, while absolving himself of any responsibility.
He admitted he had flattened the woman’s account, but that he was young and did so at the urging of the other man.
Cadogan, of Arthur’s Seat, St Thomas, was giving his defence when his trial continued in the No. 4 Supreme Court yesterday.
He is accused of unlawfully and maliciously engaging in conduct, on August 24, 2011, which placed Bank of Nova Scotia account holder Hortense Williams in danger of death or serious bodily harm.
