That was the ruling of the Court of Appeal yesterday as it ordered convicted killer Andrew Harclyde Pollard to serve the 20 years he got for killing his ex-girlfriend ten years ago.
Pollard, a crane operator, of Mahaica Gap, Green Hill, St Michael, was convicted of murdering 23-year-old Guyanese Onicka Gulliver, formerly of 1st Avenue, Station Hill, St Michael, between March 11 and 14, 2014.
He was represented by attorney Sydney Pinder, while Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Alliston Seale, SC, and State Counsel Paul Prescod appeared for the State.
