Cops probing stabbing death

The Barbados Police Service is investigating a stabbing death.

Police reported this morning that they responded to a residence / bar located at Seclusion Gardens, Black Rock, St. Michael in the early hours of today, where a man was reported to have died after reportedly receiving a number of stabs about his body.

The Police Service noted the information came to the their attention around 1.15 a.m. via a phone call to the Operations Control Room.

They responded to confirm the report and found the man, who was at the time seated in a makeshift chair, with a number of wounds about his body.

He was later pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor.His identity is still unknown and is being treated as “John Doe” until his identity is confirmed.
