The Ministry of Education has announced there will be no classes tomorrow as principals, management teams and health and safety committees continue to conduct their walk-throughs at their respective schools.

A release from the minister this evening noted that these inspections will help the school teams make assessments of the conditions of the facilities and allow them to make recommendations, so the necessary solutions can be put in place.

“Additionally, all school ancillary staff will be required to report to work on Tuesday to assist with the cleaning of the school,” it added.

The Ministry of Education urged individuals to pay close attention to all official information sources, noting they would provide updates on the status of regular classes.  (CM)
