Six months after taking over the helm at Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., chief executive officer Andrea Franklin says some adjustment may be necessary going forward, in the way the agency does business.

“There may be times when we have to look at whether we have the right structure in place to be able to do the things that we know we need to do to get to the next step and change may be required. Those are things that we need to be constantly aware of and to be able to pivot where necessary,” Franklin told the Sunday Sun during an interview last week.

She noted tourism “is changing constantly and we need to make sure that the organisation is keeping up with the trends,” hence she said one of the things to which she has been giving attention “is how fit is the organisation now for the changing tourism market.” (GC)
