Parkinson Secondary School is set to reopen today.

A release from the Ministry of Education last night said management of the Pine, St Michael school reported all major issues, including insect infestation, the furniture and spaces that were impacted, had all been industrially cleaned.

“Other areas that underwent some form of retrofitting have also been completed,” it added.

The release also stated that the reception andnursery sections at St Ambrose Primary will reopen today as well.

The two areas were closed last Friday for sanitisation after a case of foot and mouth disease was confirmed at the Bridgetown school.
