Stuart Maloney dominated in the rain, as he overcame tricky conditions to win the 2024 Barbados Rally Club Winter Rally on Sunday in St John.

The Barbados Rally Club took to two stages in the easterly parish to settle championship fights up and down the timesheet. The Rally2 championship was into its penultimate round as Jamaica’s Kyle Gregg also made the trip, considering he previously took that title alongside Josh Read.

The day’s overcast weather conditions put a gloomy shadow over the stages and all drivers opted to make use of their wet compound tyres.

The Malvern to Wilson Hill test started the day’s action and Maloney finished almost four seconds faster than his closest rival. He added another three seconds upon his early lead, bringing that season-long form with him.
