Former DLP Senator Arnie Walters passes away

Former Democratic Labour Party Senator Arnie Walters has died.

Walters was an industrial relations and human resources specialist who served as Minister of State with responsibility for employment, labour relations, and the social partnership in the administration of the late Prime Minister David Thompson.

He passed away yesterday at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he had been a patient since December.

Walters is survived by his wife Anita, his children, and his brother Ken. (MB)
