Cultural Ambassador The Most Honourable Anthony ‘Mighty Gabby’ Carter has been charged with a sex-related offence.
A senior police official said earlier this evening that he was questioned by the Sex Crimes Unit at the District “D” Police Station, Cane Garden, St Thomas, in relation to a complaint which was made by the mother of a teenaged girl last year.
It has been confirmed tonight that the nine-time Pic-O-De-Crop monarch was formally arrested and charged.
He is due to appear in court tomorrow. (NS)
