The victim of the fatal accident this afternoon has been identified as 27-year-old Alex Crichlow of Gall Hill, Christ Church.
Police from the Oistins Station responded to the scene of the road traffic collision, which occurred around 1:45 p.m. along Lodge Road at its junction with Durants Road.
The collision involved a motor lorry and a motorcycle. Investigations revealed that the motor lorry was exiting from Durants Road when it collided with the motorcyclist, who was traveling along Lodge Road at the time.
Crichlow sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Lodge Road remains closed between Water Street and Durants Development as investigations continue.
