All communication on David Omar Thompson’s cell phone ceased at 8:35 p.m. on August 23, 2020, the day he went missing.

The Coast Guard officer’s charred body was found in a burnt car three days later at Ashford Road, St John.
Andre Ricardo Watson, 31, of Lakes Village, St Andrew is on trial accused of the murder of Thompson between August 23 and 26, 2020. Two others, Shaulon Rashidi Collymore, 26, also of Lakes Village, and Shaquille Jesse Romeo Goodridge, 28, of Belleplaine, St Andrew, are also accused of the murder of Thompson, of Mount Standfast, St James and had their matters adjourned.
Yesterday, the No. 2A Supreme Court presided over by Justice Elwood Watts heard from intelligence and telephone analysis expert Station Sergeant Kirk Alleyne who secured information from telecommunications companies Flow and Digicel. He analysed the cellphone records from July 1 to August 31, 2020 in relation to calls associated with Thompson’s assigned cell phone.
