Classes at Gordon Walters Primary School will remain online as environmental remediation work at the institution continues.

The Ministry of Educational Transformation, through its Education Technical Management Unit (ETMU), has confirmed that repair, treatment, and cleaning efforts have been undertaken at the school to address pest-related issues and improve the overall condition of the compound. While the majority of the work has been completed, officials noted that several areas are still undergoing treatment and will require additional time before the premises are deemed fully ready for the return of students and staff.

In the interim, online learning will continue to facilitate uninterrupted instruction.

The Ministry stated that it will maintain regular communication with staff to provide updates on the progress and to address any further concerns that may arise during this period.
