Public schools to close for Easter Break next week

Public schools across Barbados will close for the Easter Break at the end of next week as the Hilary School Term comes to an end.

Classes will officially end for students on Thursday, April 3, while teachers will wrap up on Friday, April 4. The two-week break will see schools reopening on Tuesday, April 22, for teachers, and Wednesday, April 23, for students.

The upcoming Trinity Term, which marks the final school term of the academic year, will feature the Barbados Secondary Schools’ Entrance Examination on Tuesday, May 6.
