King Bubba and Faith Callender are defending their latest 2025 releases which have been receiving mixed reviews.

While some critics believe the lyrics and accompanying video to Bubba (and Trey Breezy’s) Truckman are “deplorable” and questioned why Callender used certain colloquialisms including the ‘r’-word in Bajan Code, others are singing the songs’ praises.

Faith Callender acknowledged that some people disagreed with some of the expletives in the song but stated: “Those are universal Bajan words”. FILE

The artistes maintain that the tracks are relatable.

Truckman which explicitly depicts sexual activity in a vehicle was released online on Tuesday via social media.
