One dead in suspected hit-and-run

Update: Police have identified the victim of Tuesday night’s fatal crash at Lodge Road, Christ Church as 35-year-old Laqwain Morris of Silver Hill, Christ Church.

According to reports, Morris was riding a motorcycle around 9:45 p.m. when he was struck by a car. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found no signs of life. A medical doctor later confirmed his death.

Police at the Oistins Station are treating the incident as an unnatural death and have launched an investigation.
