Wanted: Romario Payne

The Barbados Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance in locating 28-year-old Romario Adrian Payne, also known as “Mario” or “Rusty”.

Payne, whose last known address is 17E Haynesville, St James, is wanted for questioning in connection with a serious criminal matter. He is described as being about 5 feet 7 inches tall, slim built, and of brown complexion.

Lawmen are urging Payne to turn himself in at the Criminal Investigations Department (Northern Division), located at District ‘E’ Police Station, Major Walk, Speightstown, St Peter. He is advised to be accompanied by an attorney-at-law of his choice.

Anyone with information on Payne’s whereabouts is asked to contact CID (Northern Division) at 419-1737 or 419-1730, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, or the nearest police station.

The public is also reminded that harbouring or assisting a wanted person is a serious offence and can lead to prosecution. (TBPS)
