The Barbados Police Service had on display today at a media conference two weapons that were seized in an exercise at Accommodation Road, Bush Hall, St Michael, on Friday.

The Glock pistol and an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and 30 rounds of ammunition were among nine seized in June.

Commissioner of Police Richard Boyce said five people were taken into custody as investigations continue. He also said Police and the Barbados Defence Force would be working around the clock.
