West Indies all-rounder Ashley Nurse has declared his intent to go all the way in the upcoming World Championship of Legends T20 tournament in England, saying he’s focused, fully fit, and determined to lift the trophy when the action concludes later this summer.

Nurse, known for his crafty off-spin and powerful lower-order hitting, is no stranger to high-pressure tournaments and believes the World League presents a golden opportunity to showcase his skills and help his team to glory.

“I’m coming to win. I’ve been playing at my club Gladiola in Barbados and training hard. My mindset is sharp, and my goal is simple – to lead from the front and walk away with the World League title,” said Nurse ahead of the tournament.

A seasoned international campaigner with years of experience for the West Indies and in global franchise leagues, Nurse is expected to play a crucial role as both a wicket-taker and a stabilizer in the middle overs.

The World Championship of Legends, several cricket superstars and will be played across major venues in England. The West Indies team also includes Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Sulieman Benn, Dwayne Smith and Fidel Edwards – all T20 World Cup winners.
