Livardo Hinds remanded to Dodds

Livardo Rogelio Hinds was remanded to Dodds Prison when he appeared before Magistrate Keitha Ellis in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Hinds 35, alias ‘Shots’ of Durants, Lodge Road, Christ Church, was charged with possession of a firearm and 16 rounds of ammunition, both alleged to have occurred on April 28, as well as two counts of absconding on February 2 and March 12.

He was the subject of a warrant of arrest issued earlier this year and was found guilty (in absentia) of the of the February 2, 2017 murder of Michael Omar Edwards after he failed to appear before Justice Carlisle Greaves in the No. 3 Supreme Court.

Hinds was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to reappear on Friday May 22, 2026. (PR/SAT)
