Haynesville house destroyed by fire, man in custody

A house in Haynesville, St James burnt to the ground this morning and a man taken into custody.

Firefighters responded to the scene after the alarm was raised around 7:30 a.m.

The home belonged to Everton Reece who told The Nation a relative was allegedly responsible for the fire following a dispute. 

The relative was apprehended around 10:30 a.m. and seen being driven away in a police vehicle.
