Police investigating unnatural death off Holetown beach

Police are conducting investigations into an unnatural death last Saturday off Holetown Beach, Holetown, St James.

A Barbadian-registered vessel was travelling from Bridgetown towards Speightstown when there was a collision around 12:45 p.m. involving a male snorkelling in the area, police said.

Ambulance personnel were summoned and the man was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police did not state whether the deceased was a local or visitor.
