Public schools will close for summer break this week.
The last day of school for students will be tomorrow, Thursday, July 2, while teachers will proceed on vacation after Friday, July 3.
Eight weeks have been allocated for the 2026 summer holidays. The new school year 2026-2027 will begin with a planning week for teachers from Tuesday, September 1 to Friday, September 4. Students will return to the classroom on Monday, September 7.
