Adrian Clarke, the 2026 calypso king of Barbados, is already looking ahead to next year.
This morning, Clarke collected his car – the GAC M Coupe – from Pic O De Crop sponsors Courtesy Garage and said he joked with one of his colleagues in De Big Show about walking away with it all.
“I always felt that I had a very good chance of winning it,” he said.
“It’s been a wonderful year and believe it or not, I thinking 2027 already. So if accepting vehicles feels as good as it feels right now, I think I’m probably going to make it a habit.”
Clarke’s calypso Legends From The Grave swept Barbados by storm and lived up to its billing as the favourite, backed by a dynamic performance on the night at the National Botanical Gardens.
