Responsibilities
• Be friendly, positive and professional.
• Host customers sincerely.
• Explain menu items in detail.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Monitor tables to ensure guests are satisfied and address any needs or concerns.
• Prepare and process bills and payments.
• Help to keep the customer areas clean.
• Coordinate customer-to-kitchen expectations.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including food handling and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
• Ability to communicate to various levels: spoken, body language, empathy.
• Ability to manage stressful work peak-timeframes.
• Previous experience as a waitress or similar role.
• CXC in Maths and English
• Desire to learn.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for long 3 hour shifts.
• Capable of lifting and carrying heavy trays and other items (20 Kg.) as needed.
