Police seek help in identifying man found dead at Brownes Beach

Police are seeking the public’s assistance as they continue investigations into yesterday evening’s death of an adult male at Brownes Beach, Bay Street, St Michael.

The man’s unresponsive body was discovered in the area of the Old Pirate’s Cove around 6:36 p.m.

An unknown male pulled the body of “Jon Doe” from the water and a female beach goer administered CPR. Personnel from the Ambulance Service were summoned to the area and transported the victim to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead by a medical doctor.

The deceased is about 5” 11” inches tall with a dark complexion and medium built, weighting about 220 pounds. He was wearing a plaid coloured beach pants and was bare backed and bare footed.
