THE BARBADOS MANUFACTURERS EXHIBITION (BMEX) was officially opened last night at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre with a record 182 booths with 193 exhibitors.The annual exhibition of products and services is expected to attract thousands of Barbadians and visitors over the next four days.BMEX offers from food and drinks to plants, clothing and textiles and other locally manufactured items.Yesterday morning hundreds of primary and secondary school children were given a chance to see what BMEX has to offer.The public will be able to tour BMEX each day between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. until Monday.
