OVER 4 000 RUNNERS participated in this year’s Aunty Olga’s Ship Inn Fun Run. Some saw it as a serious competition while others just cared about the fun. But at exactly 4 p.m. yesterday, families, social groups, businesses and dogs began the race from Independence Square to the Ship Inn, St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church. The proceeds of the event, tagged Tribute To Aunty Olga, will be donated to Aunty Olga’s Needy Children’s Fund. Dame Olga herself was positioned at the entrance to the Ship Inn, from where she witnessed Mark Greenidge crossing the line first.
