Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) says it is predicting an “active to extremely active” hurricane season this year for the Atlantic Basin, which includes the North Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico.According NOAA’s Seasonal Outlook, produced in collaboration with scientists from the US National Hurricane Centre and the US Hurricane Research Division , there is a 70 per cent probability of 14 to 23 named storms.
