Competition was fierce among the drivers which saw England’s Paul Bird and his navigator Kirsty Riddick of Scotland ]take the pole position. The bright green of the Ford Focus WRC07whizzed through the countryside at death-defying speeds, with Bird taking advantage of a puncture suffered by local favourite Paul “The Surfer” Bourne.The event concludes today.
