HAMILTON – Fast bowler Malachi Jones has been thrown out of the Bermuda squad for the remainder of the World Cricket League Americas Region Division 1 50 overs tournament being staged here for breaking team rules, the Royal Gazette newspaper has reported.
It emerged yesterday that Jones had been punished by national coach David Moore for playing for club side Willow Cuts on Sunday, despite being ordered not to do so, the Gazette said. (CMC)
