It was a fun yet educational time for students of the Good Shepherd, Welches and St James primary schools when they toured the cruise ship Freewinds yesterday. The students, who recently sat the 11-Plus Exam, were treated by Minister of International Transport George Hutson, who is the parliamentary representative for St James Central.Hutson said that for the last four years children from the constituency had been given a post-examination treat and this year “we decided to tour the Freewinds”. The students were taken on an interactive tour and were taught many of the concepts associated with sailing.  Here, Port Captain Lieutenant Ludwig Alpers gives some students of Welches Primary School a chance to get a feel of the wheel, much to their delight.
