INFORMATION from sources close to the Real Deal Production camp indicates that legal proceedings have begun against Keith Anthony B Blair and his booking agent Reggae Starz.
The source, who prefers to remain anonymous because the matter is still sub judice, has said that legal papers were placed before a Jamaican Court sometime last week.
These proceedings have occurred due to the non-appearance of Blair for a stage show slated for December 31, 2009, dubbed the Kings And Queens Show.
The amount being requested in damages has been estimated at several thousand US dollars and would have comprised artiste fees, accommodation, air fares and other expenses that were incurred by the company in the process of having the artiste perform in Barbados.
The other headliner, Queen Ifrica, carried the show for the Barbados public who expressed disappointment with the reggae star’s failure to appear. (YB)
