FORTY-YEAR-OLD Ian Swanston has never seen his father.
But Swantston, who is visiting from Manchester, England, is hoping to meet him before the end of his trip.
He is seeking the public’s assistance in trying to locate Barbadian Cameron D’arcy Greenidge.
His dad was born on September 23, 1934, and worked in shipping, arranging transport for Barbadians to England.
The only piece of information Swanston has is the name of his grandmother and her address back then.
A birth certificate names Waple Greenidge as his grandmother and gave her address as Tweedside Road, St Michael.
Swanston leaves the island on Friday.
Anyone with information is asked to call 421-7354. (TTY)
