Boy, 16,  to be charged in death of teen

A 16-YEAR-OLD secondary school student is expected to be charged today for the murder of 15-year-old Kevin Stoute.Police were last night questioning the suspect, who was taken back to the scene where Stoute met his death after he was struck in the head with a stone.The fourth form student of St George Secondary School died on the spot at Phillips Land, Lightfoot Lane, St Michael following a dispute during a gambling game.It was the second tragedy to strike the Stoute family over the past ten years.On September 25, 1999, Stoute’s uncle Wintson Stoute was shot and killed following a gambling game dispute while he was at Bush Hall, St Michael.Ironically, Stoute’s alleged killer, Oscar Jefferson Scott, also met his death by the gun when he was riddled with bullets last year March, just yards away from the same spot where he allegedly killed Stoute.
