SENIOR national badminton player Dave Forde is in Malaysia on a six-week training course as he prepares for the Commonwealth Games.Kevin Wood, president of the Barbados Badminton Association, said that Forde was at the New Vision Badminton Academy and would be sharing the knowledge he gained with his teammates when he returned.Forde is a former president of the association and is also a physical education teacher at St Ursula’s. Before he left, he spent some time with the young charges he coaches at the Collymore Rock, St Michael, school. The Commonwealth Games will be held in India in October. (SAT)
