POLICE INVESTIGATORS ARE trying to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of 64-year-old Aginel Gibson of Lead Vale, Christ Church. On Wednesday night, Gibson, a well-digger, was found lying outside his home with a gunshot wound to the chest.Cloretta Forde, who shares the Christ Church home with Gibson, described him as a funny, friendly person who loved to give people jokes because he loved to see people laugh. Forde said that the last time she saw Gibson was around 9 p.m. as they watched an African movie together.“He was watching an African movie with me, and I was dozing off. And he said to me, ‘Why you don’t go and lay down and sleep?’ And I said to him, ‘Why you don’t go and lay down and sleep?’ He got up and tell me that he was going out and he gine soon come back. If he had stayed and finished watching the movie with me, he would have been at work all now,”Forde also spoke of how she found out about the incident. She said it was her daughter who drew her attention to Gibson’s body, which was lying just feet away from the front door.  “I was sleeping and my daughter, who got home around 11:45, saw him there stretched out. She shout for me and I get up and she said, ‘Mum, come outside’. When I went outside, he was there stretched out and done dead with blood coming through he mouth,” she said, obviously still shaken.Up to late last night police were still hunting for the killer(s).
