International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) muscleman Joel Stubbs is in Barbados to conduct a seminar on bodybuiding, nutrition, and supplementation tomorrow. It will be held at Divi Southwinds, St Lawrence, Christ Church, from at 9 a.m. until about noon. The seminar is being sponsored by Oceans Gym, Divi Southwinds, and Erin Promotions.Former top national heavyweight bodybuilder Roger Boyce, of Erin Promotions, said the seminar is free to the public, and he encouraged all athletes and coaches to attend.“There is a lack of knowledge when it comes to nutrition,” he said. “This seminar will be useful to all athletes and coaches because what we are trying to achieve is to [help] our athletes reach the same level as their international counterparts in terms of nutrition.“Stubbs is an international bodybuilder with a lot of experience and knowledge of the sport, and I’m positive that anyone who attends will benefit greatly.”Stubbs is a regular competitor at professional level. He placed 16th in last year’s Mr Olympia and third in the Europa Super Show .Also addressing the seminar will be physiotherapist Andrew Simpson, who will be speaking on preventing sports injuries and how to treat them when they occur.
