Everdene Smart’s Alabaster Box provided the anointing needed to make her the winner of the first LIME Gospel Challenge at the Frank Collymore Hall on Saturday night.
Smart, competing against nine other singers, finished ahead of Adrian Allen, who placed second; Kellyann Trotman, third; and Lehanna Ryce, fourth.
Smart earned the LIME Gospel Challenge 2010 Trophy and $5 000.
