It’s all about the bottles

AS A citizen I have always heard that we are a proud people but recently I am beginning to think otherwise.

It doesn’t matter if you are in the most prestigious school or college, when you look around, there is somebody picking up bottles.

You could be on the balcony of the finest restaurant, and you could bet your life somebody is placing a bottle in a bag! Gone are the days when you easily distinguished who a vagrant was.

Today’s “vagrants” now drive Mercedes and BMW’s armed with “body bags” and pulling bottles from garbage bins! If you could only see them dressed, you would think they dressed for the date of their life, not knowing they jealously waiting for you to disposed that bottle.

It’s no wonder they were up in arms when former prime minister Owen Arthur recommended backyard farming because they were too busy doing backyard bottling! I guess somebody would want to bottle me for this!
