Fourteen-year-old Cannija Jarvis, who needed blood urgently, has died.His mother Donna Jarvis said Cannija passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday.The deceased is a former third form student of St Leonard’s Boys’ School. He was diagnosed with acute myloid leukaemia ten months ago.Just last week, the QEH made an urgent call for blood for Cannija in order for him to have the extra blood platelets required to save his life.The Cemetery Lane, Road View, St Peter resident leaves to mourn four sisters and four brothers.
