HOUSTON, Texas – A United States federal judge Wednesday ruled that indicted Texan financier, Allen Stanford, will be tried alone when the hearing into his alleged US$7 billion Ponzi scheme gets underway in January. United States District Judge David Hittner ruled that Stanford, whose alleged scheme involved his Antigua-based Stanford International Bank, will be tried separately from his alleged co-conspirators.
