Combermere, QC in Under-19 clash

DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Combermere and first-timers Queen’s College will meet in the final of the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) Schools’ Under-19 knockout competition.The final is slated for Friday at a venue to be announced.In the semi-finals on Sunday, which came off after being rescheduled a couple times, Combermere crushed Harrison College by a whopping 205 runs, while Queen’s College defeated Alexandra by four wickets.Summarised scores :At Waterford ‘A’: Combermere 275- 5 in 40 overs (Jonathan Drakes 91, Roston Chase 78, Shayne Moseley 41, Shane Proverbs 28; Benjamin Parris 2-39, Brandon Best 2-46). Harrison College 70 in 26. 3 overs (David Knight 18, Nicholas Carryl 16; Roston  Chase 4-12, Brandon King 2-18, Jomel Warrican 2-18). Combermere won by 205 runs.At Husbands:  Alexandra 97 in 36.5 overs (Stefan King 15, Jamal Boyce 12, Shaquille Parris 11, Joshua Drakes 10, Stefan Hinds 10; Jerome Stuart 3-10, Jabarry Mascoll 3-21). Queen’s College 98-6 in 29. 3 overs (Clint St. Hill 29 not out, Rohan Ryan 21, Che Layne 16, Craig St. Hill 14). Queen’s College won by four wickets. (EDH)
